Because every structure is unique, every rolling shutter is custom made. However, there are two distinct ways to install rolling shutters for existing structures, regardless of what type of structure they are being fit to. Retrofit and soffit installation are available for most buildings. Soffit installation requires that the window be close enough to the soffit of the home to be fully contained by the soffit. For times when this is technically impossible, a retrofit installation works best.
